As a rule, the prices offered by the Chinese manufacturers are preliminary and overestimated. The overwhelming quantity of exported Chinese goods is made under standards of foreign customers, though some groups of goods are on sale both in China as well as in other countries.

Quality of the Chinese goods made by the foreign enterprises within China depends on the foreign owner who invested the means for the given manufacture. Usually foreign company establishes the quality standards at the enterprise, has staff of the employees. At such factories the inexpensive labor is used basically for the work that not demanding high qualification of the personnel, or they train the Chinese workers at own expense.

Volumes of made production from such enterprises are usually high enough – because of desire as much as possible to lower production cost price, and because the investors of such enterprises are large corporations, they realising production through a dealer network practically worldwide. Such Chinese goods therefore usually are not on sale to the foreign companies for they made for own needs of the investor.

But in China there are lot of factories that manufacturing goods for different foreign customers. And thus the possible quality and quantity of output for Chinese goods, their price, directly depend on conditions at the particular enterprise, and they are not always depend on factory size. Therefore one of the basic questions at the beginning of work with the Chinese manufacturer – what monitoring system of quality applied at the enterprise.

Certainly, everywhere there is a production plan and a quantity of already placed orders that can affect term of manufacture of the Chinese goods, but it is a subject of negotiations and if the new client can convince the Chinese manufacturer that orders will take places on a regular basis and the contract will be concluded for a long term, the question of terms can be solved in favor of the client.

The commodity nomenclature of the industrial enterprises focused for export of the Chinese goods is very wide: from clothes and footwear to the difficult equipment. Sometimes the enterprises of China make the goods only for one foreign partner, or have contractual relations with two-three clients. But the overwhelming majority of the enterprises are making the products for any interested foreign partners, those factories making the Chinese goods with various qualities for export. They usually don’t let out a fake, but can make on the basis of the given sample any product, a detail or the unit within the industrial orientation under your trade mark and in demanded packing.

The Chinese goods even can look just as not Chinese if we manage to agree about that marks on the goods hid country of origin. Many foreign companies apply such technique for biases concerning quality of the Chinese goods will still be present for time.

But it is an uneasy way: at registration of customs formalities in China and in the country of the customer there can be problems with customs and certified bodies and it is necessary to know ways of their decision. Nevertheless, the majority of the products which are on sale in boutiques of known French and Italian marks for a long time already are the goods made in China.
